Jost Van Dyke Charter Guide

Named after a 17th-century Dutch pirate who once sailed these waters, Jost Van Dyke island may have a reputation of being the ‘party’ island of the BVI Islands, but there is also plenty of nature and calm beaches to be found.
Charter Guide

White Bay Beach

Snorkel off the beach by White Bay, located near the western tip of the island. An ideal spot for beginners, the underwater coral reef systems here are home to several different types of tropical marine life, from stingrays to tarpon and turtles.

Great Harbour

Head ashore and explore some of the restaurants and bars of Great Harbour. Be sure to stop by the world-famous Foxy’s for a tasty Caribbean dish, a drink or two and some beautiful live music and enjoy one-night cap at Corsairs before retiring for the night aboard your charter yacht.

Monkey Point, Guana Island

A stunning national park, get ready to come face to face with an abundance of marine life. The perfect place for swimming and snorkelling, you are sure to see yellowtail snappers, blue-striped grunts and yellow jacks here.

Wayward Wall

A great place for scuba divers, Wayward Wall, is between 12 meters and 40 meters below the surface. Home to several species of fish, as well as turtles, it’s suitable for novice divers. More experienced scuba divers will enjoy the deeper Cathedral, with an underwater tunnel and cave

Hiking

Explore the island by foot by hiking along some of Jost van Dyke’s many trails. The best way to see all the island has to offer, be sure to visit one of the main attractions, the geological wonder of the Bubbly Pool, located on the north coast of the island facing Little Jost Van Dyke.
