Lucayan National Park

Peterson Cay National Park

Just one mile off Freeport’s southern shore, this small, one-and-a-half acre area of protected habitat is the smallest national park in the Bahamas. It’s only reachable by boat and home to a significant population of Bridled Terns. A hot spot for snorkeling due to its four distinct reef zones, it’s teeming with marine life

Rand Nature Centre

Home to a broad range of flora and fauna, it is a well-known bird-watching spot. Easily the most accessible national park in Grand Bahama, this 100-acre sanctuary boasts a 2,000-foot trail winding through coppice and pine forests, offering nearly 130 identified plants.
