St Barts Yacht Charter FAQ

The cost of chartering a yacht in St Baths will start at around $25,000 a week, plus an additional 30% advanced provisioning allowance (APA), 14% VAT, and a discretionary tip. The APA will cover the food, drinks, fuel, and berthing during your travels, and the tip remains at the discretion of the client but is advised anywhere between 10% to 20% of the charter fee to thank the crew for their efforts.

The starting price for a yacht charter in St Baths will be around $25,000 for a week for 8 guests plus expenses. There’s a vast selection of yachts available in the area, and many size categories to choose from:
- 20m motor yachts will cost around €16,00pw + all
- 20m sailing yachts will cost around €15,00pw + all
- 25m motor yachts will cost around €30,000pw + all
- 30m yachts will cost around €50,000pw + all
- 40m superyachts will cost around €140,000pw + all
- 50m superyachts will cost around €250,000pw + all

The Caribbean season lasts from early December through to Easter, and includes a spectacular NYE in St Barts.

Most yacht charters in St Baths will start in the island’s main port Gustavia. A great cruise is to go island hopping to the neighbouring Caribbean islands.
