What is the MYBA Charter Show, and when is it held?

The MYBA Charter Show is a premier, trade-only event organized by the Mediterranean Yacht Brokers Association (MYBA), serving as a cornerstone for the luxury charter industry. While the exact dates for the 2026 edition are yet to be announced, the show traditionally takes place in late April. The 2025 edition was held from April 28 to May 1 at Portosole Marina in Sanremo, Italy.
The MYBA Charter Show stands out for its exclusive focus on luxury charter yachts and its role in setting industry standards. It provides a platform for professionals to appraise a curated fleet of superyachts, engage with captains and crew, and explore ancillary services. The show is renowned for its exceptional organization, high-quality exhibitors, and its contribution to promoting sustainable yachting practices.
Attendance is limited to industry professionals, including charter brokers, yacht managers, and other stakeholders in the luxury yachting sector. The 2025 edition welcomed over 1,500 attendees, including 655 brokers, highlighting its significance as a networking and business development event.
The show features a range of events and competitions that showcase the talents of yacht crews and the capabilities of the vessels: Chef’s Competition: A highly anticipated event where onboard chefs present culinary creations, judged by a panel for creativity and excellence. All Hands on Deck (AHOD) Competition: This competition invites yacht crews to demonstrate their ingenuity and creativity by crafting imaginative guest experiences suited for any weather condition. Seminars and Workshops: Educational sessions covering the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in the yachting industry. Networking Events: Opportunities to connect with industry peers through social gatherings and formal meetings.
