Rotational Chief Engineer - 45m M/Y Dual Season Charter

We are seeking a Rotational Chief Engineer to join a 45m Dual season Charter Motor Yacht.

This is a permanent position offering a 2:2 rotation. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall technical management and maintenance of the vessel, ensuring safety, reliability and optimal operation at all times. They must demonstrate strong leadership skills, technical expertise and a proactive approach to problem-solving. The role involves working closely with the crew and management team to maintain the highest standards of vessel performance and safety compliance. We are looking for a hands on Chief Engineer that is a team player, happy to assist in all areas of the vessel, be conscious of spending and work within the vessels budget. 

Vessel is currently in the Bahamas and would require the chief engineer to hold a Valid B1/B2.

Start date: Middle March 2026

Candidate requirements:

• Relevant experience as Chief Engineer on similar motor yachts
• Coc – Y3
• Valid STCW and a ENG1 medical certificate
• Valid B1/B2
• Proven ability to oversee vessel maintenance and manage shipyard periods
• Strong understanding of safety procedures and regulatory requirements
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Flexibility to work in varied operational environments and handle emergency situations
• Work well with a smaller team and hands on with all departments

Package:

• Salary $9,000 – 10,000pcm
• Full rotation: 2:2
• Start Date: Middle of March
• Tips: Share equally
• Itinerary: Mediterranean and Caribbean
