Captain - 55m M/Y - Charter

We are currently seeking a Permanent Captain to join a 55m Charter Motor Yacht .

This is a permanent Captains role offers the opportunity to lead a crew of 11. The vessel will operate across the Mediterranean and European waters. You will be responsible for the management of vessel operations, safety and client satisfaction. The role requires a proactive leader with excellent communication skills, capable of maintaining high standards both onboard and in client interactions. They should possess a strong background in onboard logistics, safety procedures and crew management, alongside a flexible and personable character suited to working with high-net-worth individuals and international teams. This is a single season Mediterranean based vessel.

Start Date: ASAP

Candidate requirements:

• Master 500GT qualification or equivalent
• Proven experience as a Captain on similar-sized yachts
• Experience in managing commercial vessels with private and charter operations
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Strong safety awareness and operational knowledge
• Fluent in English; additional languages are advantageous
• Valid STCW & ENG1
• Experience working with high-net-worth clients and crew management

Package:

• Salary: €12,000 pcm
• Leave: 60 days
• Itinerary: Mediterranean
• Tips: Shared equally
