Captain - 35m M/Y - Mediterranean Charter

We are currently seeking a Permanent Captain to join a 35m+ Private Charter Yacht.

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and professional Permanent Captain for a 35m M/Y that operates in the Mediterranean. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the yacht, delivering exceptional service to clients, and ensuring all navigation and safety protocols are followed. The vessel is currently in Lebanon and will be completing a dry dock period in March and then be heading to the Mediterranean in April. the intension for the  vessel is to be chartered in the Western Mediterranean for the summer season and then wintering in Malta during the winter. The vessel runs with a crew of 7.

This role demands strong leadership, extensive yachting experience and excellent problem-solving skills. The Captain will also liaise closely with client and Yacht Management company to ensure their expectations are met or exceeded and uphold the company’s high standards of safety and service.

Candidate requirements:

• Proven experience as a Captain on motor yachts, specifically in the 30m – 40m range.
• Valid STCW and ENG1.
• Master 500GT or Higher.
• Exceptional knowledge of navigation, safety, and vessel maintenance protocols.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage a diverse crew.
• Experience operating in the Mediterranean preferred, with a good understanding of local regulations and ports.
• Strong client service skills, with a professional and personable demeanour.
• Good levels of physical fitness and a proactive approach to safety and operational procedures.

Package:

• Salary: €9,000 pcm
