Captain - 20m Sailing Catamaran - Mediterranean - Private

We are currently seeking a Permanent Captain to join a 20m Private Catamaran.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of luxury catamaran sailing yachts. This is a permanent position based in Europe, offering the opportunity to work with a reputable company in a dynamic maritime environment. The Captain will oversee the crew, ensure compliance with safety standards, and deliver exceptional experience for clients onboard. A strong background in sailing yacht operations, leadership, and navigation is essential to succeed in this role, alongside a proven track record of navigating and managing sailing vessels of similar size. The position requires a proactive and responsible individual who is passionate about yachting and client satisfaction, with excellent communication skills and a meticulous approach to vessel management.

Start Date: November – December 2025

Please Note: We would prefer a couple Captain and Stewardess or Captain and Chef

Candidate requirements:

• Proven experience as a Captain on sailing yachts, preferably in a similar size range (16m – 25m)
• Master 200GT in hand and valid
• Valid STCW and ENG1
• Strong knowledge of sailing vessel operations, navigation, and safety protocols
• Leadership skills with the ability to manage crew and ensure smooth onboard management
• Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are advantageous
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and respond efficiently to operational challenges
• Understanding of maritime regulations within European waters and compliance requirements
• Happy to assist on deck with day to day operations

Package:

• Salary: $6,000 pcm
• Leave: 60 days leave per year
• Itinerary: Mediterranean
