2nd Engineer - 50m M/Y - Single Season Private/Charter

We are currently seeking a 2nd Engineer to join a 50m Single Season Charter Motor Yacht.

We are currently seeking a dedicated 2nd Engineer that assist on deck to join their team on a 50m single-season charter vessel based in Europe. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the Chief Engineer to ensure the seamless operation and maintenance of the yacht’s machinery and systems. Working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, you will be responsible for overseeing engine room activities, troubleshooting technical issues and working closely with the crew to uphold the highest standards of safety, safety compliance and operational excellence. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced 2nd Engineer or deck engineer to contribute to the vessels operating predominantly in the Mediterranean, with a focus on professionalism, technical proficiency and teamwork.

Start Date: Mid to End of January 2026

Candidate requirements:

• Previous experience as a 2nd Engineer or Deck Engineer on a motor yacht
• Strong technical knowledge and competence in marine systems and equipment
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle emergencies
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility to adapt to varying schedules and itineraries
• Valid STCW and ENG1 certification
• Completed AEC1 & AEC2 courses

Package:

• Salary: €4,500 pcm
• Leave: 44 days paid per year
• Itinerary: Mediterranean
