The turquoise waters surrounding the island offer visibility to 48 metres, which make it ideal for diving and snorkelling. Head to the Pillars of Hercules and the Caves of Light and swim through the pillars by the sea before enjoying the phenomenal light show at the Cave of Light.

Illetes Beach

Explore the two beaches of Illetes beach and Llevant beach, separated by a chain of dunes. Walk down the dunes to admire the contrast of seascapes at each side. An ideal spot to sample local cuisine, visit Juan y Andrea or Es Ministre for the freshest seafood.

Es Caló

This picturesque fishing village is full of small coves, typical traditional houses and a charming wooden walkway by the sea. Relax by its beautiful beach and admire the variety of fish teeming in its clear waters before enjoying a stunning sunset walk.

Es Pujols

A small town nestled between Llevant beach and Punta Prima, this is the beating heart of Formentera. Visit its night market, many cocktail bars and open-air street cafes or relax on one of the pristine sandy beaches nearby.

Playa de Migjorn

One of the largest beaches on the island, it is encompassed by white sand dunes and rocky coves that stretch to the cliffs of La Mola. Take in the stunning landscapes that have remained unspoiled before taking your pick from several excellent seafood restaurants, cafes and beach bars.
