Cala Di Volpe Charter Guide

The namesake luxury hotel of Cala Di Volpe was initially built as the Aga Khan’s private home and was used as a location for the iconic 1977 James Bond film, The Spy Who Loved Me. Today it is part of the “Luxury Collection” operated by the Starwood hotel chain.

Hotel Cala Di Volpe

Make use of all the amenities offered by the hotel. Enjoy a spa treatment at the wellness centre before taking a dip in the Olympic size saltwater swimming pool, one of the largest in Europe. The lunchtime pool-side barbecue is especially popular among visitors disembarking their superyachts for a few hours.

Pevero Golf Club

Ranked among the top 100 golf courses in the world, this course was designed in 1972 by English architect Robert Trent Jones. This 18 hole, par 72 course features magical views of Cala di Volpi and is an ideal spot to enjoy a round or lunch.

San Pantaleo

Nestled in the mountains, the town of San Pantaleo is the place to be to experience a taste of authentic Italian living. Take time to explore its markets, full of local produce, wines, baked goods and more. Several stalls also offer antiques and silk, cashmere, pottery, and leather, all designed by local artists.

Porto Rotondo

A luxury resort developed in the late 1960s by wealthy Italian aristocrat Donà Delle Rose, its marina and beaches draw in the superyacht elite. At the centre of this town is the Piazzetta San Marco, a quaint square where locals come together to talk with each other as they enjoy their coffee.

Vigne Surrau

An upcoming winery in the area, take time to stop by the Vigne Surrau vineyard to learn more about the region’s wine and sample several different grapes and vintages.
