Model Review: Pardo Endurance 60

An Elegant Evolution in Liveaboard Luxury

When you first set eyes on the Paro Endurance 60, it’s immediately clear this isn’t just another stylish Italian yacht—it’s a thoughtfully designed liveaboard cruiser that emphasizes refined comfort and seamless practicality. Making its UK debut, the Endurance 60 by Paro Yachts has already captured attention with its sculpted lines, cleverly integrated features, and European flair. In this exclusive review, we explore what makes this 60-foot yacht such a compelling addition to the market.

A Smooth, Sculptural Exterior

From the moment you approach the Endurance 60, you’re met with its striking silhouette. With its clean, rail-free stem and deeply recessed side decks, the profile is unmistakably sleek. It’s no accident—Paro’s designers have purposefully recessed the safety rails within deep bulwarks, giving the yacht a clean, flowing exterior while still offering safe passage around the deck.

One of the standout features at the bow is the concealed anchoring system. Rather than protruding from the hull, the anchor mechanism is hidden behind a hydraulic hatch, maintaining the sleek profile when not in use and deploying smoothly at the touch of a button.

At the stern, the hydraulic swim platform easily accommodates a 3-meter tender and offers seamless water access, reinforcing the boat’s core philosophy: relaxed, comfortable living afloat.

Cockpit Versatility

The cockpit of the Endurance 60 continues the theme of luxury with purpose. Drop-down balconies on both port and starboard sides significantly increase usable beam at anchor, transforming the aft deck into a spacious terrace over the water. These fold-down sections offer guests an open-air lounging space usually reserved for much larger yachts.

The seating here is intelligently designed, with movable backrests and fold-flat loungers allowing for various configurations. A high-low electric table can convert the area into a generous sunpad, daybed, or dining space with ease. Even the detailing on the table’s movement and the adjustable backrests hint at a yacht where every detail has been carefully considered.

Seamless Indoor-Outdoor Living

Access to the interior is through an innovative set of bifold saloon doors that open wide, practically removing the barrier between indoors and out. Even the adjacent side glass panel lifts to link the galley and cockpit visually and functionally.

Inside, the layout is open, airy, and luxurious without being ostentatious. The galley-aft design is practical and social, making meal prep and entertaining a seamless affair. It’s split across both sides of the saloon—with the dishwasher, sink, and storage on port and twin fridges and cooking equipment to starboard—ensuring maximum counter space and workflow flexibility.

There’s a built-in sideboard housing an icemaker, wine cooler, and storage for stemware and bottles. A television rises neatly from cabinetry, and large power-drop windows allow fresh air and panoramic views to dominate the space.

Helm with Intelligence and Visibility

The helm is as stylish as it is functional. Set forward and to starboard, it features a floating dashboard with twin multi-function displays that can be customised based on user preferences. The control systems are streamlined, with push-button access to core functions such as wipers, lights, and horn.

The adjustable seating cleverly incorporates a folding backrest that shifts to ease access to the side deck door, a prime example of the space-efficient, thoughtful detailing found throughout the boat.

The Endurance 60 also employs Volvo Penta’s IPS drive system—with joystick control, bow thruster, and tilt steering—offering smooth, responsive handling whether in tight marina maneuvering or long coastal passages.

Below Deck: Three Cabins, All En Suite

The lower deck of the Endurance 60 is dedicated to comfort and privacy. The yacht offers three beautifully appointed cabins, all with en suite bathrooms—a rare layout in this size category.

The VIP cabin, located forward, features a large skylight above the berth, an innovative pull-out ladder for emergency deck access, and ample hanging storage. The en suite includes a separate rainfall shower and premium fittings.

The third cabin is ideal for family or guests, with two single berths, generous headroom, and storage solutions. It shares its en suite with the day head, accessible via a separate door.

The owner’s stateroom, however, is the undeniable showstopper. Spanning the full beam of the yacht and tucked aft for maximum comfort and quiet, it features mood lighting, a full wardrobe, dressing table, and a plush settee. The bathroom is nearly the size of a small cabin itself, with a separate rainfall shower, large vanity, and elegant finishes. With a washer-dryer tucked just outside the suite, it’s clear this yacht is built with long-term cruising and liveaboard life in mind.

Deck Details and Flybridge Freedom

Back on deck, a walk along the generous side passages reveals some of the thoughtful craftsmanship: fender holders mounted to minimize gelcoat wear, pop-up cleats etched with the Paro logo, and teak decking even in traditionally overlooked areas. Even the poles for the drop-down railings have their own dedicated storage racks.

At the bow, integrated sunpads await—perfect for soaking in the sun while at anchor—with concealed lockers and windlass controls cleverly integrated beneath hatches.

Moving up top, the flybridge offers another beautifully arranged living area. A second helm station mirrors the equipment of the lower station, while a full wraparound lounge and alfresco dining area dominate the upper deck. A demountable table and director’s chairs provide flexible dining or cocktail hour seating. A fridge and hidden bimini top round out the space, delivering everything needed for days—or nights—above deck.

Crew and Engine Access

Though the Endurance 60 is intended for owner-operators or light-crewed cruising, there’s still a compact crew cabin accessed through the transom. With twin bunks and a private head with shower, it’s ideal for occasional crew, a nanny, or even overflow guests.

The engine room, also accessible from the crew cabin, is exceptionally well laid out. Twin Volvo Penta D8 IPS 800s (600 hp each) offer a top speed just above 20 knots and a cruising speed in the 12–14 knot range. The yacht’s projected range is over 400 nautical miles at cruising speed—ample for exploring Mediterranean coasts or hopping from island to island.

Space around the engines is excellent, with clear access to service points, fuel filters, and the central generator. Switch panels and hydraulic systems are laid out with clarity, demonstrating a focus on real-world usability and maintenance.

Conclusion: A Genuine Liveaboard with Mediterranean Flair

The Paro Endurance 60 is more than just a stylish Italian yacht—it’s a well-balanced cruiser that blends practical design with elegant aesthetics. Everything, from the drop balconies to the full-beam owner’s suite, speaks to time spent aboard. This is not a yacht built solely for occasional weekend outings, but one designed for immersive, extended cruising.

For discerning owners seeking a yacht in the 60-foot range that prioritizes comfort, intelligent use of space, and liveaboard potential without sacrificing performance or style, the Endurance 60 sets a new benchmark. With its debut in the UK market through Argo Yachting, it’s sure to attract both loyal boaters and curious newcomers looking for the next level of onboard luxury.
