Each year, the World Superyacht Awards recognise the most exceptional achievements in luxury yacht design, construction, and innovation. Judged exclusively by a panel of current and former superyacht owners, these accolades are revered as the “Oscars of superyachting,” offering unparalleled credibility and prestige within the industry. In its 20th edition, this black-tie event drew over 500 yacht owners and industry leaders to the historic Arsenale di Venezia.

At 47 metres in length, M exemplifies the elegance and technical ingenuity for which Sanlorenzo is renowned. Built by Sanlorenzo and part of its acclaimed 500EXP series, M represents a seamless balance of refined design and long-range capability. Her exterior was crafted by Francesco Paszkowski Design, combining strong, modern lines with explorer-style practicality. The interiors, designed by Studio Indigo, earned high praise from the judging panel for their calm Scandinavian styling and thoughtful customisations.
Particularly impressive to the judges was the reimagined owner’s suite on the main deck, where walls were repositioned to bring the bed closer to the window, creating a serene nook with direct views of the sea through a fold-down balcony. A cleverly angled wall in the en-suite bathroom allows for a significantly larger shower, adding to the feeling of luxury without compromising space.
Onboard, every detail reflects a close collaboration between the design team and the owners, who sought not only comfort and elegance, but also versatility. The result is a yacht tailored to both relaxed family cruising and sophisticated entertaining. M’s win at the World Superyacht Awards 2025 underscores her position as a new benchmark in the under-499GT class.
