TWW welcomes EMERALD to the charter fleet

We are delighted to announce our appointment as Charter Central Agents for EMERALD.

Chartering the 50.4-metre EMERALD (ex LEGACY V / MQ2) is a fantastic way to experience a classic Feadship superyacht, but with all the modern amenities.

She has recently completed a detailed interior and exterior refit that includes:

– A completely new interior designed by Design Unlimited
– Hull extension to create one of the largest aft main deck spaces in her category
– Complete exterior repaint

NEW TO THE SALES FLEET: Mangusta Oceano 43 UNASOLA

TWW is proud to announce that the Mangusta Oceanco 43 UNASOLA has joined the sales fleet. The yacht is currently lying in Göcek, Turkey and is available for viewings.

UNASOLA is a 43.1m motor yacht built by Italian shipyard Overmarine 2017. As hull number 2 of the Mangusta Oceano 43 line, UNASOLA is a full-displacement yacht with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure with a beam of 8.7m, a draft of 2.6m and a volume of 451 GT.

UNASOLA features an interior and exterior design by Alberto Mancini Yacht Design and naval architecture by Overmarine. Up to 12 guests can be accommodated in 5 cabins as well as 7 crew members including the captain.

She is powered by twin MTU engines, which give her a cruising speed of 11 knots and a top speed of 15.6 knots. The yacht carries 62,000 litres of fuel onboard and 12,000 litres of water.

Feadship’s 50m yacht EMERALD launched after major refit

Today, the Feadship superyacht LEGACY V was relaunched as EMERALD following a unique and extensive rebuild at Balk Shipyard in the Netherlands. Originally delivered in 1990 to a design by De Voogt Naval Architects, the yacht is a shining example of a modernised classic that will soon become a popular new addition to the charter market with TWW Yachts.

After arriving at Balk Shipyard in October 2021 measuring 48.6 metres in length, EMERALD received a stern extension to bring her to a total LOA of 50.4 metres. As just one of the many impressive upgrades made to the yacht, the extra length allowed for two new staircases leading from the aft cockpit to the swim platform. To suit her new name, the yacht’s hull was painted in “orion green”.

EMERALD’s experienced European owners wanted to bring the yacht’s existing design up to date and create a home at sea to be enjoyed by all the family and charter clients. Achieving this required a huge remodelling of the general arrangement and a new interior design with a timeless monochrome theme by UK-based design studio, Design Unlimited.

Starting with the main deck, the refreshed layout features a forward-facing master and neighbouring VIP suite, while the four remaining guest suites are situated on the lower deck. The main saloon is now an open-plan design with a lounge, dining area and connecting high-spec galley.

On the lower deck forward are five crew cabins, with the captain’s suite situated on the bridge deck, for a total of 12 crew for perfect five-star service during charters.

The bridge deck features a large exterior deck where a single extendable crane can manoeuvre the yacht’s selection of toys in and out of the water. Once clear of equipment, this space can be used as an outdoor lounge and leisure area. Atop the yacht lies the rebuilt sundeck, where a large Jacuzzi forward, cosy seating area, sun beds and wet bar form the perfect meeting spot for everyone on board. The refit also included new teak decking in all of the exterior spaces.

As part of the refit, the yacht’s mast and superstructure archway were both redesigned to suit the modernised superyacht and her new antennas. The technological equipment on board now includes brand-new navigation, AV/IT and communication systems, as well as two zero-speed Quantum extendable stabilisation fins. In the engine room, EMERALD’s recently serviced twin CAT engines can power the yacht to a top speed of 14 knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots.

Post delivery, EMERALD will join the charter market under the management of TWW Yachts and premiere at the MYBA Charter Show in Barcelona from 24 April 2023.

Price reduction on RIVA 88 Domino MAROON

The owner of Maroon has instructed us to make a significant price reduction of €300k, making the new asking price €4,950,000.
