Warren Cook

Warren grew up in an engineering family, and started his career in his homeland, Zimbabwe, installing air conditioning systems in homes and businesses before relocating to the United Kingdom, working in and around the London area.

Warren discovered the yachting industry by accident whilst helping a friend deliver a yacht back in 2004. It was during this delivery, which should have lasted for a week and ended up being a two-and-a-half-year journey, that Warren realised a passion for sailing and fishing the world’s oceans, as well as yachting turning into a rewarding career.

Returning to shore following this initial time at sea, Warren worked for companies in Malta and throughout the Mediterranean, over a 9-year period, across all aspects of yacht maintenance, service and support. It was during one project in Italy that Warren was approached by a Captain to leave the shore life and join his team as an engineer on a 56-metre motor yacht.

After more than 6 years on board, and with the opportunity to assist in the re-fit of the owner’s second vessel, Warren spent the next 2 and a half years refining his skills as part of the refit team. With Warren’s understanding and insight into life on both sides of the bulwark he is a valued member of the TWW Yacht Management team. In his role, Warren draws on his years of experience and a wide knowledge base to support our clients and their teams on board.

Outside of yachting, Warren is passionate about overhauling things: from cars to houses and gardens. He enjoys working with his hands and bringing a vision to life.
