Steve Green

Steve has over 18 years of experience within the Marine Industry. Starting as a Steward with a Pan-European Ferry operator before moving ashore into Marine Compliance and Operations for a fleet of 21 Ro Pax, Cargo and High-Speed Craft (HSC) vessels. Steve’s experience in the commercial sector allowed him to gain a wealth of marine knowledge from design approval to operational compliance, while also focusing on legislation and the impact on operations.

Steve holds numerous professional qualifications including Marine Internal Auditor, Company Security Officer, Marine Resource Management Facilitator and Cyber Security for Marine Professionals; and has further supported his marine knowledge with Lead Auditor ISO Certification.

While in the Marine Industry and with TWW, Steve has been involved in both compliance-led project management, systems development and operational systems integrations across a wide range of maritime functionalities, ensuring compliance while also delivering efficiencies.

Steve has previous experience working with another UK based yacht management company toward the development of their ISM department, while also supporting the Designated Person Ashore and Yacht Managers to maintain and modernise the Company’s Safety and Operational Management Systems.

Given Steve’s wide-ranging experience across the commercial shipping and yachting sectors he adds significant value to the TWW Yacht Management teams cross functional experience.

Outside of work Steve can be found championing his three daughters as they travel around the country at various Dance and Cheerleading events, competing at Regional, National and International Levels.
