Maria Stevens-Gray

Maria is an accounting professional with years of experience working across varying sectors, including motor trade, construction, financial services and maritime. She started her career as an accounts administrator, progressing to management accountant roles. Following completion of her AAT qualification, she became a financial controller in a regulatory environment, holding sole responsibility for the finance function of two businesses.


In her early twenties, Maria embarked on a solo round-the-world trip, visiting the United States, New Zealand, Fiji, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, and finally working in Australia for two years. This trip gave her a fantastic exposure to different cultures, mindsets and approaches to problem solving. It also gave her the opportunity to develop her communication, independence and confidence, and of course, throw herself out of the odd plane or off the odd bridge!


As an Accounts Assistant with TWW Yacht Management, Maria utilises her diverse professional background and well-rounded skillset to provide vital support to our internal team, our clients and the teams on board. Her broad sector experience, underpinned by her AAT qualification, gives her a strong technical foundation, while her personal experiences (particularly living and working internationally, navigating complex environments and cultures) enhance her ability to remain adaptable, solution-focused, and confident when handling new challenges.


Maria is and always has been a dog lover and has recently added a British Bulldog (one of our Happiness Officers) to her family and the TWW Kent Office.
