Lenny Pucci

Technical Superintendent USA
Lenny’s youth was spent sailing and fishing on the waters of Long Island Sound. These formative experiences naturally guided him toward a maritime career. He later attended the University of Michigan, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, specializing in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering.

Lenny began his career in the mid1980s, providing research and technical support to NAVSEA, focusing on ship and submarine planning, design, and development. Throughout the late 1980s and into the 2000s, Lenny established a reputation as a naval architect and construction representative for the 12-meter sailing yacht EAGLE and two 500-foot oceanographic research vessels for the Military Sealift Command.

During this time frame Lenny also started his life as a Captain and sometimes engineer of motor yachts up to 45 meters, throughout the US east coast, Caribbean and Mediterranean. Starting around 2007 Lenny played a pivotal role in the construction of some of the world’s most prestigious motor yachts. Notably, Lenny served as the owner’s construction representative for the 96-meter VAVA II at Devonport Shipyard, the 72-meter Project ALBATROSS at Delta Marine, and the 118.8-meter BREAKTHROUGH at Feadship. In addition to the construction of these vessels Lenny worked with tender designers and builders of rescue boats and tenders with bespoke designs for the builds. On BREAKTHROUGH worked with Lloyds, CISR and RVLS ensuring a Zin electric tender could be stored aboard.
