Jean Claude Carme

Jean-Claude Carme specializes in new-build custom yacht projects at TWW Yachts headquartered in Monaco. His recent projects include the 2021 Espen Oeino design 64-metre ATOMIC, built by Viareggio SuperYachts, the 55-metre motor yacht SILVER STAR built by Admiral Yachts (2023), the 50-metre GREY built by Tankoa Yachts (2023), the 20-meter BLADE built by Tecnomar for Lamborghini. Current projects include a 40-metre Mangusta 132REV built by Overmarine, with scheduled delivery in July 2024.

Jean-Claude holds degrees in both classical humanities and Earth sciences from Paris universities. He started his career in the marine industry in communications at the Oceanography Institute in Paris (Foundation Albert 1st, Prince of Monaco). He made his debut in yachting in 1992 as the European representative for ShowBoats International Magazine and then diversified into business development consulting for marine and non-marine companies (yacht building, luxury submarines, undersea archaeology, biotechnology) and taught at HEC, France’s top business school. From 2008 to 2015, Jean-Claude managed sales, marketing and contracts for the Sunrise Yachts shipyard, securing six new-build contracts and three refit contracts for superyachts in the 45m-70m range. He joined TWW Yachts in 2016.
