Day 1

Athens

Your charter will begin in Greece’s capital city of Athens. At over 2,500 years old, Athens is a buzzing hub of history, culture and contemporary life. UNESCO World Heritage sites such as the Acropolis and Daphni Monastery are stunning remnants of ancient Greece, and landmarks from the ‘later’ years such as Byzantine churches should not be missed. Enjoy the 19th Century neoclassical style of the city centre before heading on board your yacht and meeting your expert crew.

Day 2

Hydra

The first stop on your luxury yacht charter is Hydra. Located in the midst of the Argo-Saronic Gulf, Hydra is one of the most charming of the Greek islands. Elegant stone mansions, tiny lanes, donkeys roaming the streets and quaint churches create a picturesque seaside setting straight out of a fairytale. The attractive environment has enticed many international jet setters, serving as a getaway for celebrities such as Leonard Cohen, Maria Callas, Aristotle Onassis, and many more.

Day 3

Nafplion

The lovely Peloponnese town of Nafplion has been recognized as one of Greece’s most romantic destinations. Between 1823 and 1834 it served as the capital of the new state and it still shows traces of Venetian and Ottoman occupation. The ancient walls, monuments, old castles, and statues exude history and are lovely sights to see as you explore the town. Combining old world charm with spectacular architecture, Nafplion is a sight for sore eyes, with bougainvilleas streaming down its medieval castles, Byzantine churches, Turkish fountains, and grand neoclassical structures. Get lost in this wonderful town’s small alleyways full of hidden gems, each more photogenic than the last.

Day 4

Spetses

Arrive into Spetses, a prosperous Medieval trading hub with elegant mansions constructed by shipping captains dotted amongst winding lanes and a bustling centre. Today, this beautiful island offers both tranquility and a cosmopolitan ambience, comprising picturesque bays, historical ruins, a glamorous harbour and a shoreline laced with swirling turquoise waters. Cars are all but banned; horse-drawn carriages are the main mode of transportation and results in a relaxed, laissez-faire atmosphere.

Day 5

Poros

Cruise on to Poros, a true Greek jewel in the middle of the Saronic Gulf. Anchor in the harbour and admire the scenery, surrounded by magnificent beaches, verdant hills, attractive villages, and a vintage vibe. Poros Town sparkles like a magnificent lake-side resort due to its sheltered environment, isolated from the hilly Peloponnese by a narrow channel. With the colorful and characterful Sferia and the calm, forested Kalavria united by a short isthmus, Poros is an island that caters to all tastes and desires.

Day 6

Epidavros

Epidavros is a Peloponnese town that gained prominence in Roman times as a healing center. Thought to be where the Greek God of Medicine resided, many people came from all around to seek healing. A UNESCO World Heritage site with its major attraction being the theater, Epidavros is the location for the annual Festival of Classical Greek Theatre. A beautiful tourist destination, Epidavros is also made up of many lovely villages and beaches adjacent to the ancient site. Explore on land and visit places such as the seaside village of Ancient Epidaurus, a quaint fishing village with a couple of little beaches, fish taverns, and studios.

Day 7

Aegina

Aegina is an island in the Saronic Gulf 13 miles from Athens. Take the tender to shore and explore the numerous noteworthy ancient sites, including the 5th Century Temple of Aphaia and the Byzantine ruins of Paleochora. You should not leave Aegina without purchasing some of the island’s famous pistachio nuts. Despite not having many beaches, the ones that are on Aegina are enticingly stunning! The majority of them are tiny but well-organized, surrounded by seaside taverns and beach bars to quench your thirst.

Day 8

Athens

Arise to beautiful Grecian sunshine and have breakfast al fresco, taking in the beautiful views of Aegina. After a dip in the azure blue waters around your yacht, relax in luxury with a cocktail in hand as your crew navigates the short journey back to Athens. As you get ready to end your yacht charter, reminisce over the memories you have made; we are sure you will be back soon!
