This 7-day sailing itinerary offers the perfect mix of relaxation, coastal exploration, and cultural discovery. Starting and ending in Larnaca, this round-trip route takes you to picturesque harbors, fishing villages, and historic towns, with plenty of time to swim, snorkel, and sample Cypriot cuisine along the way. With steady winds, short distances, and well-equipped marinas, Cyprus is an ideal destination for sailors seeking an easy and scenic Mediterranean getaway.

Day 1

Larnaca

Depart from Larnaca Marina, one of the best-equipped marinas in Cyprus. Set a gentle course east along the coast to Agia Napa, a lively resort town known for its sandy beaches and crystal-clear coves. Drop anchor at Konnos Bay or dock near the harbor. Explore Cape Greco National Park, known for its sea caves and viewpoints, or take a dip at Nissi Beach. In the evening, enjoy fresh seafood at a seaside taverna and stroll the palm-lined promenade.
Day 2

Protaras

Sail a short distance north to Protaras, a more relaxed counterpart to Agia Napa. Anchor in Fig Tree Bay, where turquoise waters and golden sand invite you for a swim. Spend the day snorkeling or paddleboarding along the coastline. Visit the quaint Profitis Elias Church perched on a hill for panoramic views of the region. Dinner can be enjoyed in a traditional Cypriot restaurant serving meze and grilled halloumi.
Day 3

Famagusta Bay

Head northward into Famagusta Bay, where you’ll find a quieter, more historic side of Cyprus. Depending on your clearance and route preferences, you can visit the ancient city of Salamis, home to Roman baths, an amphitheater, and sprawling ruins. Nearby Famagusta (Gazimağusa) has a fascinating walled old town and Gothic churches turned mosques. Anchor offshore or find a berth if permitted, and take in this culturally rich stop.
Day 4

Kyrenia

Today’s sail takes you along the rugged northern coast to the charming port of Kyrenia, one of the most picturesque harbors on the island. Dock in the old Venetian harbor surrounded by cafés and stone buildings. Visit Kyrenia Castle, which overlooks the marina and houses a shipwreck museum. Enjoy a long lunch on the harbor and take a sunset stroll along the castle walls.
Day 5

Morphou Bay

Cruise west to Morphou Bay, a less-visited but naturally stunning stretch of coastline. Anchor in a calm bay and enjoy swimming, paddleboarding, or just relaxing on deck. For history lovers, visit the ruins of Soli, an ancient Greek city with a theater and basilica. This stop offers peace and solitude under Cyprus’s wide skies — a perfect contrast to the bustling towns.
Day 6

Paphos

Set course south around the island’s western tip toward Paphos, a UNESCO-listed city brimming with history. Dock at Paphos Harbor and spend the afternoon exploring the Paphos Archaeological Park, which includes Roman villas with intricate mosaics and the Tombs of the Kings. Visit Aphrodite’s Rock by dinghy if time allows, the mythical birthplace of the goddess of love. Paphos is known for its excellent seafood restaurants and vibrant harbor nightlife.
Day 7

Larnaca

On your final day, make a stop in Limassol, Cyprus’s modern coastal city with a stylish marina and bustling promenade. Visit the Limassol Castle and enjoy brunch by the sea before making your final sail back to Larnaca.
