Day 1

Islas Huevos

With lush green forests and pristine white sandy beaches, Islas Huevos is the perfect place to start your Costa Rican adventure. Day 2

Papagayo

Day 3

Playa Conchal

Golfers can visit the 18-hole course, whilst water lovers can visit Flamingo and Tamarindo beaches, where the swell can pick up and create great surfing conditions. Day 4

Tortuga Island

Tortuga Island is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful anchorages on Costa Rica’s central Pacific coast. Now a melting pot of Central American culture and nationalities, Quepos is a phenomenal place to eat. Try traditional Costa Rican cuisine at the central market, and exquisite local coffee shops. If adrenaline is what you’re after, head to the Savegre River for pristine waters and excellent white-water rafting. As the day comes to an end, admire the now familiar spectacular sunsets of Costa Rica.

Day 6

Isla del Cano

The biological reserve of Isla del Cano contains extensive coral formations as well as stone sphere ruins of pre-Columbian civilizations. Between the months of July and October you are almost certain to spot many humpback whales, pods of which migrate almost 8000 kilometres from the southern hemisphere. It is a breathtaking sight and memories of these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat will stay with you forever. Another treasure of Isla del Cano is hidden beneath the waves; the underwater oasis is a diver’s dream, with a diverse array of marine life including dolphins, barracudas, and sharks.

Day 7

Golfo Dulce

Golfo Dulce, which translates to “sweet gulf,” is a wild, scenic, and incredibly biodiverse region. Discover this enchanting area where the palm-shaded beaches of Zancudo and Pavones provide excellent surfing for those looking to hit the waves. Hire a local guide in Golfito and visit the national parks, which are ideal for seeing tropical birds, jaguars, coatis, and monkeys. Look closely to see the humpback whales, who use the calm waters of the Gulf of Mexico as a nursery for their young in October before embarking on the next stage of their migration.
