Day 1

Juneau

Your adventure begins in Juneau, the capital of Alaska, nestled between snow-capped mountains and the glittering waters of the Gastineau Channel. Spend the morning exploring the historic downtown area, where colorful buildings house artisan shops, seafood restaurants, and cozy cafes. Visit the iconic Mendenhall Glacier, just a short drive from the city, and hike to Nugget Falls for a close-up view of the cascading waters against the backdrop of the ancient ice. Day 2

Tracy Arm Fjord

Cruise slowly through the icy waters, passing drifting icebergs and waterfalls plunging from the cliffs. The highlight of the day is witnessing the massive, blue-hued Sawyer Glaciers. Day 3

Petersburg

Arrive in the charming fishing town of Petersburg, known as “Little Norway” due to its rich Scandinavian heritage. Wander along the wooden boardwalks that line the harbor and admire the traditional Norwegian rosemaling patterns painted on local buildings. Visit the Clausen Memorial Museum to learn about the town’s fishing history and Norwegian culture. In the afternoon, explore the nearby LeConte Glacier by tender or kayak and enjoy the peaceful surroundings of this smaller, less-visited glacier.

Day 4

Frederick Sound

Today, cruise through Frederick Sound, one of Alaska’s most renowned whale-watching areas. The nutrient-rich waters here attract large pods of humpback whales, often seen breaching and bubble-net feeding. Spend the day slowly navigating the sound, with breaks for fishing or kayaking in calm coves. Enjoy the incredible experience of hearing the haunting songs of whales echoing through the water beneath your vessel. End the day with a peaceful anchorage in a sheltered bay, surrounded by nature’s soundtrack.

Day 5

Baranof Hot Springs

Head to Baranof Warm Springs, a small village accessible only by boat. Follow a scenic trail through the forest to a series of natural hot springs overlooking a roaring waterfall and the tranquil bay. Soak in the mineral-rich pools and take in the panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. Day 6

Sitka

Day 7

Red Bluff Bay

Day 8

Warm Springs Bay

Day 9

Elfin Cove
