What is the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix?

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Since its debut in 2009, it has established itself as one of the most distinctive events on the calendar.
The race takes place at Yas Marina Circuit, a purpose-built Formula 1 track set on Yas Island. The circuit is uniquely integrated with a marina, hotels and waterfront developments.
The event is typically held at the end of the Formula 1 season, most often in November or early December, and frequently serves as the championship finale.
The race is famous for its twilight format, starting in daylight and finishing under floodlights. Combined with its marina-side setting and modern infrastructure, it offers a very different character from traditional street or historic circuits.
Yas Marina allows yachts to berth directly alongside the circuit, with sections of the track passing close to the water. This creates an immersive environment where guests can experience the race from the perspective of the sea.
