Temp Deck Engineer - 50m M/Y - 2 Months contract

We are currently seeking a Temporary Deck Engineer to join a 50m Private/Charter Motor Yacht for a period.  

The successful candidate will be responsible for efficient operations of both end deck and engineering department, support the shipyard period and chief engineer during the winter period with day to day maintenance, contractors and happy to get their hands dirty. The role is based in Europe, offering an exciting opportunity to work on luxurious 50m Motor yacht built in 2023. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in deck engineering within the yachting industry, demonstrating a proactive approach and excellent teamwork skills to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Please Note: This role will start on the 13th December and run until the 15th of February – You will be onboard during the Christmas period.

Candidate requirements:

• Previous experience as a Deck Engineer
• Strong troubleshooting and repair skills for deck and mechanical systems
• Ability to work effectively as part of a small, dedicated team
• Flexible attitude with a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and service
• Valid STCW and ENG1
• AEC 1&2

Package:

• Salary: €5,000pcm
• Leave: Consolidated
