Chief Officer - 50m+ M/Y - Single Season - Private/Charter

We are currently seeking a Permanent Chief Officer to join a 50m+ Private/Charter Motor Yacht.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the safe and efficient operation of the vessel. This full-time, permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a renowned charter program, ensuring exceptional service and safety standards are maintained at all times. The role involves overseeing deck operations and leading a deck team of 3, maintaining the deck and safety equipment, and supporting the Captain in navigational duties. Candidates must demonstrate a proactive approach, leadership skills, and the ability to work seamlessly within a team of professionals to deliver a high-quality charter experience.

Candidate requirements:

• Previous experience as a Chief Officer or First Mate on similar-sized yachts
• Proficient with safety and navigation procedures aboard motor yachts
• Valid STCW and ENG1
• OOW 3000GT or higher
• Strong leadership and organisational skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Experience in yacht maintenance and safety equipment management
• Jet driving and twin prop for larger chase boats
• Good eyes for detail

Package:

• Salary: €7,000 pcm
• Leave: 60 days leave per year
• Itinerary: Mediterranean
