With around 700 boats on display at the Cannes Yachting Festival, it’s wise to have a plan if you’re in the market for a new yacht. While the show is a major celebration of the industry, showcasing the newest and best-in-class yachts up to 50 metres in length, not all of them are for sale.
Shipyards typically use boat shows to present their latest builds, highlighting their craftsmanship and ability to construct either production or custom yachts, depending on their focus. While not all 700 boats are for sale, some are—and there are some pretty cool yachts available for inspection.

40.08m | PHOENIX | Benetti | 2021
Delivered in 2021, PHOENIX is a lightly-used award-winning superyacht in immaculate condition. She has only ever been enjoyed privately and despite being built to RINA classifications, has never been placed on the charter market.
Her design is by RWD with interiors by Bonetti/Kozerski. PHOENIX can accommodate up to 10 guests across five staterooms, comprising a master double on the main deck forward, two lower deck doubles and two lower deck convertible cabins. She can also host eight crew. Key to her design is the trademark aft deck, which has twin hydraulic platforms converting the beach club into an “oasis” waterside al fresco lounge, complete with a glass-walled Jacuzzi.

FOX is the latest custom new build from British shipyard Pendennis. The pocket explorer is incredibly versatile and boasts a 103.5 square metre aft deck. Few yachts of this size offer such impressive carry capacity. Twin 2.5T SWL deck cranes can launch and retrieve everything from tenders to amphibious vehicles and submersibles.
She has a striking muscular exterior design and is immediately recognisable. Chic, contemporary interiors by Q London balance this utilitarian design. FOX offers accommodation for 10 guests in five suites, including a full-beam owner’s suite.

33.7m | AB 110 | AB Yachts | 2024
The brand-new AB 110 is one of the fastest 30m+ yachts on the market. Twin MTU propel her to an eye-watering speed of 45 knots – Cannes to Monaco could be done in less than an hour.
The AB 110 has a low profile and sleek exterior design, drawn up by the Next Yacht Group. She is lightweight, incredibly agile and is said to be noise- and vibrationless when underway. While her interiors by Archea have not been presented yet, she has been described as “loft like” and expected to accommodate 10 guests.

42.6m | FLYING MANTA | NQEA | 2004/24
The 42.6m explorer yacht FLYING MANTA is one of the smallest yachts that can facilitate heli-operations. Designed for exploration, FLYING MANTA is incredibly versatile and perfect for keen anglers and divers. She has dedicated space to hang a rod and one of her highlights is a fresh oyster and lobster tanks with a barbeque grill, to cook up the catch of the day.
Fresh from a refit, including her 20-year survey, FLYING MANTA is in immaculate condition for Cannes. The 345 GT explorer has never been chartered and only ever used privately. Accommodation is for 12 guests and eight crew.

26.2m | MOMI | Vismara Marine | 2021
Vismara Marine is a sailing yacht specialist located in the Italian shipbuilding hub of Viareggio. MOMI is the second largest yacht they’ve built and she is a high-performance Maxi outfitted for the regatta circuit. She has an Axxon carbon fibre rig and V-boom and a JP3 steering system.
MOMI has ample living space for a performance yacht and can be sailed for long-distances. She offers accommodation for six guests and four crew and has a large saloon cum dining area and separate crew quarters. Her builder describes MOMI as a “true Ferrari of the sea”.
