Sea Promenade

Take a walk along the harbour, with the sea and Palmaria Island across the Le Bocche channel and a “wall” of characteristic, colourful buildings on the other. Enjoy a coffee or cocktail at one of the main seafront bars and watch the locals and visitors walk by.

Church of San Pietro

At the end of the promenade, you’ll find the majestic Church of San Pietro on a hill. Officially consecrated in 1198, it looks like a fortified castle from a distance. A tour inside will reveal a statue of Saint Peter and stunning views.

Spiaggia di Palmaria

Take the tender to the island of Palmaria and head to the beautiful pebble beach of Spiaggia di Palmaria. Ideal for relaxation and sunbathing, lounge under the sun at one of the beach clubs before swimming in the turquoise clear waters.

Castle Doria
