Make the best of your 8 Day Yacht Charter South of France with our Monaco to St Jean Cap Ferrat yacht charter itinerary.

Day 1

Monaco

Your charter will begin in Monaco, the world’s second-smallest country located on the French Riviera. What Monaco lacks in size, it certainly makes up for in attitude, status and glamour. Acting as a magnet for the rich and famous since the early 20th Century, this hedonistic paradise is lined with world-class restaurants, extraordinarily luxurious hotels and, of course, superyachts. Enjoy an early lunch at the Monte Carlo Hotel before stepping on board your charter yacht, where you will be introduced to your dedicated crew who offer a 6-star service.

Day 2

St Tropez

Brought into the spotlight by Brigitte Bardot in the 1950’s in the movie Et Dieu Crea la Femme (And God Created Woman – 1956), St Tropez has, since then, been transformed into a hedonistic haven of glamour and elegance, without losing its charm as a Mediterranean fishing village. This iconic destination is brimming with exclusive restaurants and bars, designer boutiques and pastel-coloured houses. For those wanting a more tranquil afternoon, stroll along the cobbled lanes in the old fishing village quarter of La Ponche or take a long walk from beach to beach via the coastal path.

Day 3

Porquerolles

An unspoilt paradise of golden sand beaches, eucalyptus and pine forests, Porquerolles has often been described as the last frontier of the French Riviera. This small island feels worlds away from the previous destinations on your route, despite lying just a few nautical miles south of the iconic coastline. Its lack of development, natural beauty and dreamy tranquillity captivate all who visit. Along the Northern coast, there are twenty beautiful and almost entirely deserted beaches, the ideal places for a peaceful afternoon with a beach picnic, swimming and water sports.

Day 4

Cannes

The next stop on your route is Cannes, a glamourous seaside town that has become a haven for those looking to escape in unrivalled luxury. Like Monaco, Cannes has been famed as a playground for millionaires since the 1950’s, and also for hosting the glittering film festival in May every year. La Croisette is home to a myriad of couture shops, designer bars and 5-star restaurants, whilst the beaches offer exclusive beach clubs with private areas to lay out on a sun lounger and enjoy a delicious cocktail.

Day 5

Antibes

The lovely Antibes has been called home by a multitude of artists and writers, including Max Ernst and, most famously, Pablo Picasso. It is not hard to see why the area captured the hearts and minds of such people, with its 16th Century narrow cobblestoned streets, adorned with sweet smelling Mediterranean flowers, medieval towers, glorious beaches and imposing pine forests. As you cruise into the harbour on your luxury yacht, you will surely agree that Antibes is without doubt one of the most enchanting towns on the Côte d’Azur. Indulge in an afternoon of water sports following your exploration on shore.

Day 6

Cap d'Antibes

From Antibes, head along the coastline to the Cap d’Antibes where the adventurous can take the Sentier Tirepoil trail. This well-traveled road winds along 50-foot cliffs with breathtaking sea vistas. Explore Villa Eilenroc on the peninsula of Cap d’Antibes, an exquisite home which exemplifies the elegance and voluptuousness of the Belle Epoque. Admire the 1867 architecture of Charles Garnier, who erected the Paris and Monte Carlo opera houses, before a stroll around its park, home to a myriad of indigenous plant species found throughout the Mediterranean.

Day 7

Villefranche-Sur-Mer

Be transported back in time when you anchor in the deep harbour of picturesque Villefranche-Sur-Mer and admire sweeping views of the ancient citadel and 14th century old town. Amble through the twisting alleyways, catching glimpses of the Mediterranean between the buildings, and you’ll find pastel-colored houses, centuries-old churches and chapels, and a handful of impressive museums housing works by Miró and Picasso. For the true Riviera experience, take a break from your explorations and enjoy a long lazy lunch in a restaurant on the seafront of the old town.

Day 8

St Jean Cap Ferrat

Come to the end of your yacht charter as you reach St Jean Cap Ferrat, a tranquil relief from the hustle and bustle of the city. This dreamy peninsula, whilst perfectly encompassing the luxury associated with the French Riviera, also manages to emanate a sense of peace and calm amid the summer hedonism. An oasis of greenery in the heart of the Côte-d’Azur and boasting more than 300 days of sunshine per year, showcasing hotels, magnificent gardens and sumptuous villas located in a splendid natural setting. Make the most of your yacht’s luxury amenities and take a dip in dazzling blue waters before heading on land.
