Looking to charter in the Caribbean? Here are four yachts still available this season

The chain of islands that stretches from the Southern tip of North America to the northern coast of South America is an idyllic paradise that requires little introduction. The crystal-clear waters of the Caribbean meander through 700 tropical islands, reefs, and cays, and blanket a kaleidoscope of colours for divers to explore.

These 700 islands are organised into 30 territories, governed by 13 sovereign nation-states, creating a rich tapestry of culture and a wide range of on-land activities. As the Mediterranean season comes to a close during this time of year, the great migration to warmer shores begins.

The winter calendar is also studded with fantastic superyacht events. Two yacht shows are held in December, one in Antigua and the other at Port Louis Marina in Grenada. In February, the regional regattas kick off. The RORC Caribbean 600, an offshore sailing race starting and finishing in Antigua, marks the beginning of the circuit in February, closely followed by the St. Maarten Heineken Regatta and Les Voiles de St. Barth.

The allure of the Caribbean is too irresistible to miss! For inspiration and a comprehensive overview of the Caribbean, explore our free charter guide.
