Mike O’Neill

Mike O’Neill began his maritime career serving in the South African Navy as a Submariner, before transitioning to the Superyacht industry, initially as an Engineer, and then serving as a Captain for the past 24 years on charter and private yachts ranging between 40m – 73m. During this time, he has gained valuable experience running successful charter yachts throughout the Mediterranean, Caribbean, USA East Coast, Bahamas and Central America.

Having now made the transition from seagoing Captain to shore based Manager, Mike brings decades of technical and onboard managerial experience to the team. In addition to running the day to day operations aboard yachts at a very high level, Mike also has extensive experience managing refits and shipyard projects across the USA and Europe, and an in-depth knowledge of ISM, ISPS, MLC and flag & classification society requirements.

When not in the office, Mike enjoys spending quality time with his young family, as well as sailing and scuba diving when the opportunity allows.
