Dimitrios Panagiotopoulos​

Dimitrios is a qualified Master Mariner, having previously served for over 15 years at sea on cargo ships, cruise ships and yachts including over 19 months with the Greek Navy as Navigation Officer. He subsequently transitioned ashore in early 2012 working as a Marine Superintendent for Svitzer Marine (Europe) part of Maersk group operating 11 vessels within the London Thames & Medway operation. From 2015, Dimitrios joined P&O Ferries as a Fleet Manpower Manager and been responsible for the management of manpower for crewing of a fleet of approximately 15 modern Ro-Ro passenger ferries. Dimitrios has many transferable skills that can be used for any executive position in the Shipping Industry, Surveying, Marine Operations and Crew Management. He has a strong knowledge and understanding of P&I Club-Lloyds Register-MCA, various flags, foundations, and operational procedures. His considerable experience in Crewing Management, Ship Audits, Ship Safety-Security-ISM Code- Navigation Policies and Marine Towage makes him a wonderful addition to the TWW Yacht Management team. Dimitrios will utilise his expertise to ensure TWW’s clients and their yachts are effectively and efficiently manned and is quick to respond to all crewing needs.
