Christine Grech

Christine is a highly experienced Crewing and Human Resources Manager with vast working experience in varying industries namely maritime, pharmaceutical manufacturing and the hospitality industries. She is passionate about people and the social sciences and therefore it was a natural choice to pursue her studies in the field of psychology, at the University of Malta.

Christine graduated as a Bachelor in Psychology in 2003 and during her professional career has achieved further studies in payroll administration, leadership, human resources practices and employment law. After graduating, she pursued a career in the organisational field, initially in recruitment and later progressed to personnel management within varying sectors.

Christine has also gained extensive experience while working as a Crewing Manager with a leading Maltese shipping company. Her responsibilities ranged from sourcing suitably qualified seafarers, maintaining a crew certification system, handling crew disputes and leading crew related audits, without any deficiencies.

She has a further background in developing and implementing effective human resource strategies, aimed at maintaining positive working environments. Having worked in highly regulated industries, Christine is also confident navigating complex internal structures and statutory standards to ensure compliance.
