Charlie Merchant

With some 20+ years in the marine industry, Charlie joined TWW Yachts as Commercial Director in September 2022. With superb people skills and communication, he is the integral link supporting the company’s brokers, ensuring TWW retains its exceptional client relationships and ethos, which is bolstered by the wider team’s depth of experience. He additionally works closely with David, Michael, and Pauline (company Partners/Director) to ensure the companies values around honesty, trust and best interests are maintained, whilst playing a key role in supporting the company in its continuing growth and development.

Charlie brings a broad range of knowledge and experience from previous positions as Sales Manager, Brand Manager/Yacht Broker and more recently New Business Manager in the marine mortgage finance sector. Having worked both independently, alongside Brokers, and managing large sales teams, he offers the wider global support a company requires to achieve its goals.

He has been a keen sailor since the age of 14 with a passion for racing, spending many years in dinghies competing all over Europe. More recently, when he is not working, he races One Design yachts on the South Coast of the UK, or he spends time with his young family in their RIB or sailing dinghies.
