Make the best of your 7 Day yacht Charter Bodrum with our Bodrum to Bodrum yacht charter itinerary.

Day 1

Bodrum

Your charter will begin in Bodrum, one of Turkey’s most popular destinations and boasting one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. The peninsula of Bodrum offers exclusive resorts, pretty coastal villages and a rugged coastline, surrounded by crystal-clear waters that make for a myriad of perfect swimming spots. Bodrum Town provides an elegant balance between modern tourism, tradition and tranquillity, with local open-air markets, buzzing shopping areas and a myriad of cool bars and restaurants along the promenade. Experience your first taste of local Turkish cuisine before heading on board your superyacht where luxury awaits.

Day 2

Bozburun

An increasingly popular destination for yachts, Bozburun is a quaint and rustic village that epitomises Turkey at its finest. Known for its thyme honey, sponge fishing and other agricultural produce, the brilliant blue waters around the corner from the harbour are idyllic surroundings that have attracted yachts in recent years. Enjoy the coastal views from a local restaurant or bar before heading back to your private yacht for an evening sunset cruise around some of the nearby coves along the shore.

Day 3

Fethiye

Fethiye is located on the ancient site of Telmessos, with the cliffs above containing the ruins of spectacular rock tombs. A charming, lively town on the banks of one of Turkey’s most magnificent natural harbours, Fethiye is a popular stop for yacht charters. With a smattering of expensive cafes and restaurants, gorgeous natural scenery, and a harbor studded with attractive tiny islands – notably övalye Adas, which appeared in the film SkyFall – this is an ideal superyacht cruising ground.

Day 4

Marmaris

Marmaris is a treasure of the Turquoise Coast and steeped in both character and beauty. Glassy waters wash gently against a pebble beach, crowned by a bustling coastal promenade. The village boasts a charming harbor full of wooden ships, and a castle rises proudly atop the jumble of structures. This quaint image is juxtaposed by a heady open-air nightlife, with this dynamic resort town ready to show guests a good time.

Day 5

Datca

70 kilometres from the centre of Marmaris, Datca is the peninsula’s primary harbour town. Datca offers a peaceful escape and warm, friendly atmosphere attributed to the lack of focus on tourist attraction. Surrounded by lush, green foliage, follow one of the beautiful natural walks and pathways through native flora and fauna to explore, before stopping for a picnic overlooking the bay. Datca’s coastline provides a tranquil cruising ground and myriad of serene coves set into the cliffs to anchor and escape the hustle of everyday life.

Day 6

Knidos

The ancient city of Knidos was a key trading location for the Greek Empire during the Hellenistic period. This once very prosperous port city, dating back to 400 BC, now lies as ruins across the western side of the Datca Peninsula. After excavations began in 1857 important landmarks were identified including temples of Aphrodite, Dionysus and other muses, an 8000-seat Hellenistic Theatre and a sundial from the 4th Century BC. The rest of the peninsula surrounding the city consists of steep hillsides covered in olive, fruit and various nut trees, rising above two sparkling bays where you may spot a Mediterranean Monk Seal.

Day 7

Sedir Island

The next stop on your Turkish adventure is Sedir Island, also referred to as Cleopatra Island. It is rumoured that the perfect white sand, made from seashells and aside from Sedir found only in Egypt, was brought by boat specifically for Cleopatra herself. Sedir Island is the perfect place for snorkelling, scuba diving and water sports. Anchor in Cat Bay or English Harbour to enjoy a range of water-based activities, or discover a tranquil, isolated spot to enjoy a picnic personally prepared by your private chef.

Day 8

Bodrum

On the final day of your charter, cruise back from Sedir Island to Bodrum and admire the stunning scenery along the way. As you come into harbour, the bright lights of Bodrum are waiting for you. Say goodbye to your crew and head to land to one of Bodrum’s Michelin-starred restaurants, and then on to the airport. Alternatively, with parties and bars going into the early hours, Bodrum is truly a place to see and be seen for a fantastic night.
