Day 1

Tikehau

This small picturesque atoll encapsulates the meaning of going off the grid, with white and pink sand islets and coconut groves scattered along the calm and tranquil island. Tikehau translates to ‘peaceful landing,’ which is evident when exploring these idyllic shores. Head to Long Point Break for spectacular surfing in stunning emerald scenery, and feel in awe of the natural beauty both above and below water.

Day 2

Rangiroa

One of the world’s largest atolls, Rangiroa has a lagoon so large it could fit the entire island of Tahiti inside! This destination is a must-see for its accessible yet secluded appeal. The magnificent blue lagoon is surrounded by flattened islets and skinny sandbars, the perfect place to stroll and watch the marine world unfolding around you. In terms of surfing, the islands are home to the Air Tahiti Rangiroa Pro and have some great surf spots. After a day of catching waves, unwind in this postcard paradise and enjoy the iconic French Polynesian sunsets.

Day 3

Ahe

This quaint destination, one of the lesser known atolls of Tuamotu, features delightful crystal clear waters and white sandy beaches. The Tiareroa pass provides one side of protection and a biodiverse ocean breathes life into a natural aquarium. While this calm is a haven for marine life, the contrasting open ocean side is referred to as Moana, in Tahitian the word used to describe both the ocean’s colour and the drop-off.When the swell is up, surfers from all over the world flock to this location in search of that perfect wave in idyllic surroundings. These world-class waves are truly a surfer’s paradise.

Day 4

Apataki

Discovered by Dutch navigator Roggeveen in 1722, Apataki is a small and unspoiled atoll located in the Northwestern Tuamotu Islands. This uninhabited island is a heaven for bird lovers, being home to rare seabird colonies that are far from human disturbance. These lovely birds can be found feeding in the lagoon, which also has a plethora of marine life beneath its surface. This magical underwater paradise will not disappoint, and is best explored from the comfort of your luxury yacht.

Day 5

Taha'a

Hibiscus flowers adorn the small villages on Taha’a and the scent of vanilla wafts along quiet roads. Over 80% of French Polynesia’s vanilla beans are grown here, and farming is a way of life on the island. Take the opportunity to visit family-run pearl farms and vanilla plantations to gain a better understanding of these age-old practices. Taha’a is one of the finest and most under-the-radar destinations for a French Polynesia superyacht charter, with dreamy swaths of perfect sand beach, sheltered lagoons, and iridescent coves to seek out.

Day 6

Huahine

Discover the Polynesia of yesteryear on the small and undeveloped islands of Huahine, where life moves at a delightfully slow pace. Anchor in the deep, glass-clear lagoon that surrounds the two islands, and wake up to views of magnificent white beaches and dense green jungles punctuated only by coconut plantations. If you explore the forests, you may come across sacred hidden temples, banana groves and vanilla orchids. The islands have only eight small villages and the residents welcome visitors to experience their traditional way of life. Huahine is known as The Garden Island because of its vibrant blooms, but the sea is also alive with life and provides opportunities to see whales and sharks.

Day 7

Ra’iatea

The high, steep mountains and the vast, reef-fringed lagoon of Ra’iatea take centre stage here. The only significant town is Uturoa; explore the rest of the island and you’ll find an intensely calm, back-to-nature reality. This divine setting is also home to Marae Taputapuatea, Polynesia’s most important traditional temple which many believe still has power today. Feel the ambiance of your surroundings and immerse yourself in the natural beauty around you.

Day 8

Mo'orea

Everything about Mo’orea will take your breath away, from the jagged volcanic mountains to the sugar white sand beaches. Tahiti’s sister island is as idyllic as tropical paradises come, its abundance of coral reef swirling just beneath the surface of a sea so aquamarine that it dazzles the eyes. A Mo’orea superyacht charter promises days spent immersed in nature, lounging on the world-famous beaches of Bora Bora, scuba diving and snorkeling with soaring manta rays, and hiking in the rich green valley of Opunohu to discover its mysterious archaeological sites.

Day 9

Tahiti

The last stop on your yacht charter and largest island in French Polynesia, Tahiti is a watery wonderland with 99% of its territory covered in a swirl of blues and turquoises. In one of the world’s best-protected destinations, the seas teem with marine life while on land a rich and ancient Polynesian culture thrives. The opportunities for adventure and discovery are limitless on a Tahiti superyacht charter. The capital city of Papeete is bustling with life and busy markets while nature reigns supreme outside of the city. Waterfalls cascade down mountains, black sand beaches are lapped by the Pacific Ocean, and magnificent, deserted lagoons await.
