Make the best of your 8 Day Yacht Charter Split with our Split to Split yacht charter itinerary.

Day 1

Split

Start your charter in Split, Croatia’s second-largest city. The perfect place to experience Dalmatian culture at its finest, this cosmopolitan city elegantly combines tradition and modernity whilst maintaining a vibrant buzz of life. Visit Diocletian’s Palace, UNESCO World Heritage Site and stunning reminder of the Roman influence on Croatia’s monuments, and enjoy the multitude of bars, restaurants and shops housed within the antique walls of the city. Split is also famous for its magical coastline, sparkling waters and golden sand beaches – explore in the morning before boarding your luxury yacht for a delicious lunch and the start of your charter.

Day 2

Trogir

Cruise on to gorgeous Trogir and anchor in sparkling emerald waters. Breakfast on deck overlooking the Venetian style city and its medieval walls. After a delicious meal prepared by your private chef, bask in the warmth of the sun’s rays, slip into the surrounding waters to cool off and enjoy the historical ambience of Trogir. For those with a thirst for history, head into the old town to admire Baroque and Renaissance style architecture. Explore the maze-like marble streets, intersected by canals, to get a feel of true Dalmatian history.

Day 3

Brac

From Trogir, it is but a short cruise to the island of Brac, near to Hvar. Brac is famous for two things: Zlatni Rat beach, formed by a huge triangle of golden sand extending into the Adriatic, and for the radiant white stone used to build Diocletian’s Palace in Split. Translated to ‘golden horn’, Zlatni Rat is arguably the most photographed beach in Croatia, lined with sparkling azure waters perfect for swimming and snorkelling. Brac is the largest island in central Dalmatia and its dramatic landscape of steep cliffs, pine forests and deep surrounding waters make for a stunning stop on your luxury yacht charter.

Day 4

Hvar

A hub of vibrant, pulsating life, Hvar Town offers visitors a plethora of bars, restaurants and clubs to dance the night away in style. Whether in an elegant restaurant or one of the town’s legendary beach bars, Hvar is a place to see and be seen. One of the newest playgrounds of the wealthy, Hvar offers a superb stop on your charter to go and let off some steam onland. For those less keen on the party lifestyle, head to Hvar’s abandoned ancient hamlets, craggy peaks, vineyards and the lavender fields that the island is famous for. This region is worth exploring on a day trip, as is the island’s southern coast, with some beautiful and isolated coves.

Day 5

Vis Island

An enigmatic blend of rustic charm and rugged beauty greets you on arrival at Vis Island. Previously a powerful military base and stronghold, the authentic feeling of Vis has been preserved since the base became obsolete. Underpopulated for many years, this lack of development has been a key reason in the rise of Vis Island as a tranquil tourist destination over recent years. Pristine aquamarine waters, pebble beaches, traditional buildings and scattered pine forests make the island an unmissable stop on your trip.

Day 6

Lastovo

One of Croatia’s best kept secrets, Lastovo is totally undeveloped and unspoilt. The main island is surrounded by a myriad of islets, all of which are protected by the Lastovo Archipelago Nature Park, and are subsequently home to an abundance of rare wildlife including dolphins, lobster, sea corals, and both loggerhead and green turtles. Drop anchor in one of the blissfully secluded bays to enjoy nature at its finest, and in the afternoon head to shore for a picnic on the beach or to explore Lastovo Town. This tiny village could be a watercolour, decorating the hillside with a quaint collection of red roofed stone houses and ancient churches.

Day 7

Korčula

Korčula is the sixth-largest Adriatic island and rich in vineyards, olive groves, small settlements and a lovely old town. The rocky southern coast is dotted with quiet coves and little sandy beaches, whilst the northern shore is flatter and more pebbly. Explore the cuisine of the area, and in particular their renowned local wines. The indigenous grape pošip grown on the island produces some of the best Croatian white wines, notably in the areas surrounding the villages of Čara and Smokvica.

Day 8

Split

End your charter where you started, in the delightful town of Split on Croatia’s Dalmatian coast. As you come to the end of your luxury charter, make the most of your yacht’s amenities; have a last blast on the water toys and relax on the sun deck, cocktail in hand. Reminisce over the memories you’ve made, the sights you’ve seen and the local foods you’ve shared; Croatia will be waiting for you to come back.
