Day 1

Tracy Arm

This stunning inlet offers unforgettable views of dramatic landscapes and breathtaking terrain that you’ll be reluctant to leave. Navigate through the narrow passage flanked by 3,000-foot cliffs to witness the remarkable glacier scenery. At the end of the Tracy Arm, you’ll find the Sawyer Glacier, one of Alaska’s most impressive glaciers. Watch as large pieces of ice regularly calve off the glacier, some as big as a cruise ship. In the summer, sail through the jade-colored waters, dotted with floating ice fragments.

Day 2

Anan Creek

This unique location is among the rare places worldwide where brown and black bears coexist. Anan Creek, which feeds into Anan Bay, hosts the largest salmon run in Southeast Alaska. In July and August, bears of various ages gather here to feast on the abundant pink salmon. The Anan Bear and Wildlife Observatory, along with private guides, provides safe opportunities to observe and hike through the Tongass National Forest, home to these magnificent bears.

Day 3

Baranof Warm Springs

No Alaskan yacht charter is complete without a visit to Baranof Warm Springs. Hidden until 1891 and meticulously maintained by local volunteers, this pristine location lies between a 100-foot waterfall and Warm Springs Bay on Baranof Island, offering unmatched scenery. Visitors can relax in one of three bathhouses, which offer privacy curtains and large tubs filled with 120°F spring water. For those seeking a more adventurous experience, a trail leads to natural pools where you can soak beside the impressive waterfall. Accessible only by yacht or plane, Baranof Warm Springs remains a premier destination in Alaska.

Day 4

Glacier Bay

Experience the unparalleled beauty of Glacier Bay from the comfort of one of our pristine charter yachts. Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve, sprawling over 3.3 million acres, is home to more than 50 named glaciers, offering some of the most stunning scenery, wildlife, and tidewater glaciers in the world. As you navigate the bay, look out for humpback whales, sea lions, and harbor seals. The rugged mountain sides provide excellent opportunities to spot foraging bears, mountain goats, eagles, and over 200 species of birds. Be sure to venture up the West Arm to the Margerie Glacier, known for advancing up to 14 feet daily and its frequent calving events.

Day 5

Cannery Cove and Pybus Bay

For those seeking recreation, relaxation, and remote scenery, Cannery Cove and Pybus Bay are ideal. Situated on the Southeast side of Admiralty Island and along Stephens Passage, these locations are essential stops. Begin your day by fishing for a variety of salmon and halibut, abundant in these waters. Later, explore numerous hiking trails, offering opportunities to observe bears in their natural habitat. Conclude your day under the mesmerizing Northern Lights, providing a perfect backdrop for relaxation.

Day 6

Frederick Sound

Frederick Sound stands apart as a premier destination for whale watching, unmatched in its raw beauty, tranquility, and the graceful presence of marine life. As you cruise by humpback whales and seals, make sure to visit the Five Finger Island Lighthouse. This historic beacon was the first government lighthouse in Alaska and the last to be automated. Its unique architecture contrasts sharply with the rugged coastal landscapes, making it a memorable highlight of your journey.
