Deck Engineer - 35m+ M/Y - Single Season Med

We are currently seeking a Deck Engineer to join a 35m+ Single Season Private/Charter Motor Yacht.  

The successful candidate will be responsible for efficient operation of all deck equipment, support the navigation, set up and instruct guests how to use the water toys and insure the safety of the guests when in the water and operational activities of the yacht. The role is based in Europe, offering an exciting opportunity to work on luxurious vessels measuring between 36m and 40m in length. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in deck engineering within the yachting industry, demonstrating a proactive approach and excellent teamwork skills to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Candidate requirements:

• Previous experience as a Deck Engineer on similar-sized motor yachts (36m-45m)
• Knowledge of yacht maintenance, deck procedures, safe working practices, water toys 
• Kite Surfing would be a bosun as the owner and his family kite surf on a regular basis
• Strong troubleshooting and repair skills for deck and mechanical systems
• Ability to work effectively as part of a small, dedicated team
• Flexible attitude with a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and service
• Valid STCW and ENG1
• AEC 1&2

Package:

• Salary: €3,000 – 3,500pcm
• Leave: 3,67 days paid per month
• Itinerary: Mediterranean
• Tips: Shared equally
