Vis Yacht Charter

Imagine yourself on the deck of your luxury charter yacht, taking in the stunning scenic beauty of the Dalmatian islands as you cruise past. Crystal blue waters, pebbled beaches and rolling fields await you on the unspoilt island of Vis. The further island from the mainland, Vis, once served as a military base but over the years has developed into one of the region’s finest gastronomic hubs. A yachting hotspot, it’s surrounded by smaller islands such as Budikovac, Jabuka and Korcula. Dotted with historical monuments and sites, as the island was closed to foreigners until 1989, you can still see remnants of its Greek, Roman and Baroque Austrian reign as well. The island’s isolation over the years helped preserve its natural beauty and maintain its tranquil, serene charm.

Vis Charter Guide

The main village of Vis is home to a large natural harbour with a deep and protected bay. Its calm and crystalline waters offer some beautiful opportunities for snorkelling and scuba diving as well as all types of water sports.

Vis Town

The main town on the island, explore the local cuisine by visiting some of the wineries and high-end restaurants that line Vis Town’s waterfront. Sample some of the famous local wine and lobster at Konoba Jastožera, an old lobster pot-house turned restaurant that has been attracting a-list celebrities for years.

Tito's Cave

Visit the wartime cave headquarters of World War II leader Josip Broz Tito. Rocky and isolated, Tito and his Partisans hid in this cave for several months from November 1943, planning attacks and creating strategies.

Komiža

The other main settlement on the island, Komiža, is known for its more laid-back approach and bohemian feel. Enjoy wandering the town, talking to the friendly locals or visit some of its bars and the only nightclub on the island, Aquarius, for an evening of dancing and socialising.

Ancient Vis

The original settlement established on the island, Ancient Vis Town is located at the foot of a wide bay. The ideal place to learn more about the island’s fascinating history, explore the scattered remains of a Greek cemetery, Roman Baths, an English fortress and a stunning Austrian fortress.

Flying Fortress

Home to outstanding diving due to the lack of industrial development, experienced divers will enjoy swimming by the sunken wreck of the Flying Fortress plane, which sank in 1944. Visible from above, there are also other more accessible wrecks in the area, like the Greek cargo ship Vassilios.
